Writer’s Ink Challenge

Hey, everyone! How are y’all doing today?

Thank you to Tessa Shaw who created and nominated me for the Writer’s Ink Challenge! 😀 You can check her blog out here. She’s also an aspiring author. Thank you, Tessa!

The Rules

  1. Thank your nominator
  2. Answer at least 8 questions about writing
  3. Nominate at least 5 people

Question and Answer

  1. When did you first start writing?
    — Oh… I don’t remember. Ages and ages ago. Before I can even remember.
  2. Have you always been interested in writing? – Uhhh… as long as I can remember, yeah. There have been times where I’ve take a couple months break, but I always come back to it eventually.
  3. screen-shot-2016-12-26-at-11-55-34-amWhy do you like writing? – Worlds. Creating worlds. Exploring. Adventure. Excitement. Creation.
  4. What genre do you write in? – Just about anything, actually. Except supernatural and fantasy. I like reading some fantasy, but I cannot write it.
  5. Who or what motivates you to write? – My characters motivate me to write. As does my sanity. If I don’t write them down, I have the story playing over and over and over again in my head.
  6. Do you write poetry? Uhhh… for a school assignment? Once or twice? Sorry, I ain’t much of a poetry person.
  7. Have you ever written a story with a friend? – I have! It. Is. So. Much. Fun.
  8. How do you write your stories (first person, third person)?  Both! And I’m even trying a second person. Just cuz I thought that it would be cool. And it is. But it’s different.

The Nominees

  1. Dawn from Dawn Dagger’s Offical Blog
  2. Aul from The Golden Lands
  3. And… YOU!! That’s right, you! Go out and have some fun with it!

Thanks again, Tessa! Thanks for reading, guys, and as always, watch out for wooden nickels!

Author:

Jaylee Morgan is a teenage author with her sights set on publishing. She’s written short stories since–uh… um–before she can remember. Her family isn’t quite sure what to do with her (mental hospital, maybe?), as she carries around a folder that she’ll randomly open and start scribbling in. She grew up (er, is still growing up) on a little hobby farm. She was basically born riding horses and hopefully will continue to ride horses for the rest of her life. She loves, loves, loves the cowboy lifestyle and might actually write about it someday. (Right now, she’s too scared that she won’t do it justice.) She reads. Like crazy.

  1. I loved reading your answers! I think I’ll have to answer these questions, as well … not only would I enjoy answering them, but I’d also love to do it because I don’t think most of my readers know I’m a writer, lol! It’d be nice to do a little Q&A like this 🙂
